A Special Election for the purpose of submitting Charter Amendments to the voters on November 2, 2010.  

Following is important information regarding the November 2, 2010 Special Election:

     October 18, 2010 - Early voting begins (see information below for locations & times)

Bastrop Courthouse Annex Building, 804 Pecan Street, 2^nd Floor, Conference Room, Bastrop, Texas;

Elgin Public Library, 404 N. Main Street, Elgin, Texas; 

Smithville City Hall, 317 Main Street, Smithville, Texas; 

Cedar Creek United Methodist Church, 5630 FM 535, Cedar Creek, Texas  

The early voting locations shall be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, October 18, 2010 through Saturday, October 23, 2010 and Monday, October 25, 2010 through Wednesday, October 27, 2010. 

All four early voting locations shall remain open on Thursday, October 28, 2010 and Friday, October 29, 2010 for 12 hours from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

Additionally, the following branch early voting locations shall be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 20, 2010 through Saturday, October 23, 2010 and also on Wednesday, October 27, 2010.  

Wyldwood Baptist Church, 398 Union Chapel Rd., Cedar Creek, Texas 

Red Rock Community Center, 114 Red Rock Rd., Red Rock, Texas 

Rosanky Baptist Church, 2160 FM 535, Rosanky , Texas 

Paige Community Center, 117 S. Main St., Paige, Texas 

Celebration Community Church, 113 Longhorn St., Bastrop, Texas 

Family Worship Center, 2418 FM 1704, Elgin, Texas 

These branch early voting locations shall remain open on Thursday, October 28, 2010 and Friday, October 29, 2010 for 12 hours from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

     October 29, 2010 - Last day for early voting by personal appearance.

     November 2, 2010 - ELECTION DAY
