GREASE, OIL & SAND TRAPS

Any nonresidential establishment which produces or uses grease or oil of an animal or vegetable nature, either as a byproduct or as a processing or cooking medium, shall have an exterior grease trap constructed in accordance with the City's Construction Standards Manual.

Where installed, all grease, oil and sand traps and interceptors shall be maintained by the owner or occupant, at his own expense, in continuously efficient operation at all times.
